Poker Room Review: Boomtown Casino Biloxi

Location and Size: The poker room at Boomtown is located in the middle-left of the main casino floor. With 7 tables, Boomtown has a medium-sized poker rooms on the coast.

Smoking: Boomtown offers the only poker room on the Mississippi Gulf Coast that allows smoking.

Available Games: The most common games are $1-4-8-8 Spread Limit Texas Hold’em, $1/$2 No Limit Texas Hold’em, and $1-5 Seven-Card Stud.

Comps: You earn $1 per hour of play in the poker room with your player’s card. The comps continue to accrue and can be used at any of the restaurants in the casino.

Room Rate: N/A (Boomtown Biloxi does not have a hotel)

Bad Beat Jackpot: The requirements are aces-full-of-jacks beaten by four-of-a-kind of better, with 50% going to the losing hand, 25% to the winning hand, and 25% to the remaining players that were dealt in the hand.

Overall: Personally, I cannot recommend the Boomtown Poker Room. As a non-smoker I have only visited their room in order to get this basic information for you guys. If you are a smoker I can certainly see why you would play at Boomtown since they offer the only smoking-allowed poker room on the Mississippi Gulf Coast. I am anxious to hear what other players who frequent the Boomtown Poker Room have to say about the quality of games, staff friendliness, etc.
