Hi guys,

I apologize for my lack of updates over the past few weeks. We’ve had a lot going on personally, which seems to have settled down for the most part. I’m excited about going back to giving GCP my undivided attention. Here are a couple of things I’ve sorted out since my last update.

Our poker forum is growing and getting better every day. Here are a few ongoing discussions that I hope you’ll join.

No Ipod/Mp3 players at the poker table - WTH? Recently, I was told that I couldn’t listen to my mp3 player while playing live poker. Do you believe this rule is unfair? Maybe you think the rule makes perfect sense. Either way, I hope you’ll join the debate.

Gulf coast poker league discussion - !IMPORTANT! - This is your chance to prove your poker skills to fellow GCP members. I’m putting together a poker league where we can have both FREE and regular buy-in private tournaments online. With enough people we can possibly send a member to this year’s WSOP or WPT Gulf Coast Poker Championship. Before I can get things kicked off I need you to cast your vote on this post. If you have questions, concerns, or input about a poker league, I hope you’ll share those with us as well.

Building an online poker bankroll for free - can it be done? Recently, I wrote an article about how to build a bankroll using online poker freerolls. One member tells us how he built his bankroll from $9 to over $1,000 in just two days playing online poker!
