Dear Poker Enthusiast and Prospective GCP member,

On behalf of all our members, I'd like to welcome you to the Gulf Coast Poker Community and Forum. You may be wondering if you should join our poker forum, rather than the dozens more around the web. I realize that our community may not be for everyone, but it may be perfect for you!

Here's who I think will benefit the most from our online poker community.
Southern poker players:
Our community is built mainly for players in the following states; Mississippi, Louisiana, Alabama, Florida, Georgia, and Tennessee

Players from outside of the South are still more than welcome to join GCP, especially if you are planning a trip to the area, or if you actively play poker in the South.

New poker players:
Do you have a poker related question? Don't be afraid to ask! Whether you are completely new to poker, or have been playing for a little while and want to take your game to the next level, all players are welcome here.

One of the main purposes of this forum is to help beginning players succeed at live and online poker. Here, you won't have to worry about being criticized for being a n00b. We are willing and able to help new players with their poker related questions.

Veteran poker players:
Are you a knowledgeable poker player? We would love you to become a part of our small community to share your poker expertise. You can join meaningful poker discussions and debates with other veterans or use your knowledge to assist new players with their questions.

Casino poker room staff:
This is a great place for local poker room dealers and managers. Your knowledge of poker room operations is a valuable resource for our members. Our forum also offers you an excellent opportunity to represent your casino's poker room in a positive way.
