It looks like the rumors are true about Epassporte banning deposits from US poker players. For more information, please see my article Epassporte says "Screw US Online Poker Players" .

Personally, I view this as more of an inconvenience than anything else.

What do you guys think? Do you have any other solid deposit methods that you would recommend?

yea that sucks since i just spent the $35 to get the visa card that you can use at atms. but i found another one that alot of people aren't familiar with. it called ultra prepaid. its a prepaid phone card that you can load with a bank account or credit card just like epass. and use it to load onto poker sites and it now offers you a visa card that can be used at stores or atms just like epass. another good thing is they dont take a week to verify or load your card. its instant. ive used it a few times already and have had no probs. i havent tried cashing out with it yet, but i will be soon since i just made a good score playing 2/4 no limit at full tilt.

Thanks for the heads-up about Ultra Prepaid. I'll add this to my list to check out. Please let us know how smoothly your cash out goes.

Thanks for that Fred.

Just out of curiosity, have any of you guys tried your personal Visa/Mastercard lately? I know right after the Neteller thing poker sites were having a hard time processing regular cards. I've heard that it's easier now.

I got my BoA Visa to work on Bodog, but nowhere else. I loaded Stars a few months ago with their eCheck option and that worked ok. I was planning on cashing out of Bodog and planning on doing Cake or Tilt next. Looks like Cake hasn't come up with anything to replace epass, yet. I see on 2+2 that Tilt offers echeck to some customers, but not all. I find the games on the Cake network a hell of a lot softer than Tilt or Stars, so hopefully they have something worked out in a few weeks.
